Hi!
My name is Jackie Folland and I live in East Anglia on the borders of
Essex and Suffolk.
My
Maine Coon cattery is registered with FIFe.
I am a member of several cat clubs, including The
Semi-longhair Cat Club, The
Garden of England Cat Club, The
Heart of England Cat Club and The
Egyptian Mau Cat Club.
I have been breeding pedigree cats for 15 years. My first
love being the Persian which I bred for 11 years. One day, curiosity led
me to look at some of the other breeds around, comparing
their various types and temperaments, it was then that I discovered
the Maine Coon and wanted to find out more about this particular breed.
The more I found out about the Maine Coon the more I felt this was THE
Cat for me.
My
first two female Coonies arrived in 2000, these being Kititas Ali, a
Black Classic Tabby and Tangaloor Jackies' Girl, a Black Silver Classic
Tabby. From then on, I was smitten by their charms and
personalities. My first Coonlets arrived in 2002.
My
cats and I share our home with my long suffering husband, Peter, my
daughter Leanne, to whom I owe my gratitude in making this site, our
youngest son Stuart, our geriatric Rough Collie called Lucie and my
other passion........my Egyptian Mau called Mollie who has recently
given us our first litter of 6 beautiful Silver Spotted babies.
My aim is to breed healthy, well socialised kittens of excellent type
and boning. All my cats are our companions first and show cats
second. Born in our bedroom, all kittens are raised as part of the
family resulting in a reliably social and people-orientated temperament.
Kittens are ready to leave home from 13 weeks of age having been wormed
regularly, fully vaccinated, health checked by our vet and registered
with Felis Britannica.
All breeding cats are tested FELV and FIV negative.
If you are interested in having a Jacawaca kitten of your own, or would
just like a cat chat, then please contact me by e-mail or telephone.
